How I Like My Porridge

Porridge is good for my blood pressure and I eat it every morning. I tried many different recipes to make my porridge for breakfast, but through trial and error I figured out how I like my porridge.

Previously I described my method, you may have or want to try the following two ways to make your breakfast.

The first method is to boil water, add porridge and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. You will end up with glue like paste. You can add salt or sugar to taste. Frankly, after a few times I hate doing it this way. Not only did it taste delicious, I had to leave half an hour to prepare and eat breakfast. If you are in a hurry to work, especially after late at night, the maximum 5 minutes is what I allow for my breakfast.

Another method is a variation on the first method, but instead of water you use milk. I bet you will not be able to persuade others to eat porridge every day, which is done using both methods.

This is how I like to make my porridge and eat it every morning and I love it. I hope you enjoy it too.

Take 50 grams of oats porridge, put it in a bowl that you will eat from and it is safe to put in the microwave. Now add 150 ml of half-skimmed milk. Place the dish in your microwave and heat it for exactly 90 seconds. By the way, you can change the amount of oats and milk used when you start to get the suspension of my favorite method.

When done, remove the bowl from the microwave and stir your porridge with the spoon you will use for cooking. This is the best! Now add another 100ml cold milk and stir it for a few seconds.

I do not add anything else to my porridge like sugar or salt because it is not good for my blood pressure. I find warm milk and cooked porridge provide a natural sweetness. But we are all different and you may want to add a little artificial sweetener or sugar to make it even sweeter.

Now you can eat it with a spoon as you used to stir porridge or you can drink it from a plate. I like to drink it because it tastes like a milkshake, but it’s interesting to know what you think.

So how long is the preparation time? 2 minutes. How long do you need to eat or drink it? 2 minutes. Add a minute to rinse the intestines and spoon and you are ready in 5 minutes.

You should take 5 minutes every morning to eat porridge the way I like it and soon you will like it too. I find that porridge without salt or sugar is good for keeping my blood pressure levels constant.
