Think Right and Then Speak Right

Psalm 19:14: Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my deliverer.

Let me ask you a simple question, do you see things God’s way?

It is important for us to understand that we look at ourselves, our lives and even our problems as God does, not the other way around. In other words, we must see ourselves as God sees us, victorious, not defeated. God sees us as healed, not sick. God sees that we serve him, not the enemy. It’s time to stop thinking and speaking negative things about our lives, but speak God’s Word about us!

Christianity is called the great confession.

Hebrews 3:1. Therefore, holy brothers, sharers of the heavenly calling, consider the confession of our Christ Jesus to the Apostles and High Priests.

Romans 10:8-10: But what does he say? “The word in your mouth and in your heart is close to you” (that is, the word of faith that we preach): 9. that if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God exists. Raise him from the dead, and you will be saved.” 10 For with the heart a person believes in righteousness and with the mouth confesses for salvation.

We confessed with our mouth that we believed with our heart and we were saved. We believe that Jesus Christ is the High Priest of that confession.

The Bible teaches two very important truths about confession. The first is words

important The old saying, “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”, is not really true. We learned this saying as children to help us get through those cruel childhood times, to grow up without hurting our feelings. But you see, words hurt, they affect us physically, mentally and spiritually.

The second thing the Bible teaches is that we fall into a trap with the words of our mouth.

Proverbs 6:2: You have fallen into a trap with the words of your mouth; you cry with the words of your mouth.

Anxiety is a trap. If we are not careful, our words will lead us into spiritual death, sickness and misery, the curse of the law. Praise God, Jesus saved us from the curse of the law.

Galatians 3:13: Christ saved us from the curse of the Law and became a curse for us (for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).

Jesus Christ became a curse for us when he was crucified. He became sin, sickness and died spiritually so that we could not be saved. Praise be to God!

That is why it is so important for us to continue in this great confession of Christianity and that is to live and walk in what Christ did for us on Calvary. Believe me, there is no pain and suffering, no rebellious children and no unpaid bills. They don’t have enough money to pay bills or school supplies for their children. Christ suffered and died for us, so that the blessing of Abraham might be ours.

Galatians 3:14-15: that the blessing of Abraham may come to the nations through Christ Jesus, so that we may receive the promise of the Spirit by faith. Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: though it be but one man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man shall annul it, nor add to it.

Christ died to save us from the curse of the Law and give us the blessing of Abraham.

If you read the Old Testament in Genesis, you will see that Abraham, even though he made mistakes at times, was still blessed by God. Why, because he believed God’s promise to him and it was counted to him as righteousness.

Romans 4:3: For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness.”

We must believe the promise that God has given us in His Word! God’s word is full of promises for us today, to fulfill every need, but we cannot walk in them if we do not know them, we cannot take them into our hearts if we do not know them and cannot say them. with our mouth if we don’t know them.

Romans 12:2: And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We do not live, act or think as the world thinks. We should live, act and think like God thinks. How do we fill our hearts and minds with the Word of God? We think about it every day, and then we talk about our situation with our mouths, until the truth of the Word prevails over the truth of the world. Amen!

Psalm 106:35 But they mingled with the nations and their deeds were learned.

The word nations here refers to the world, the worldly way of doing and seeing things,

not God’s way of doing things. You see, we are so blinded by the enemy that we see and think ungodly thoughts that fail, that it is hard for us to switch to godly thoughts and act upon them. Part of the problem is, often the way of the world is a rational way, and God’s way is not always common sense.

Corinthians 1:18-21: For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19. Because it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and destroy the understanding of the wise.” 20. Where is the wise one? Hasn’t God made the wisdom of this world stupid? 21 For because the world did not know God through the wisdom of God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the word that was given to save those who believe.

Get into God’s Word, learn what God has for you and then speak it into your life and the life of your family. It will be the health of your meat!

Proverbs 3:5-8: 5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6. Accept Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths.

7. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and avoid evil. 8. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.

Below are confessions you can make about your life every day. They are from the book, God’s Creative Power, gift collection, by Charles Capps, Harrison House Publishers.

Remember that you will grow in faith when you hear the Word of God loudly in your life.

Romans 10:17: 17. Now faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Speak God’s Word over your life, in your own voice, loud enough for you to hear it. It will be planted in your heart and strong faith will grow and develop. Therefore, you will think right and then speak right!

Confessions based on the Bible:

“I am from God and I have overcome him (Satan). For greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4.)

“No weapon formed against me shall prevail, for my righteousness is from the Lord. But whatever I do will prosper, for I am like a tree planted by rivers of water.”

(Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 1:3.)

“I am doing the Word of God and I am happy in my actions. I am happy with what I am doing because I am doing the Word of God.” (James 1:22.)

“The word of God dwells in heaven forever. Therefore, I establish His word on this earth.” (Psalm 119:89.)

“He gave me wealth for poverty, he gave me health for sickness, he gave me eternal life for death.” (2 Corinthians 8:9: Isaiah 53:5-6: John 10:10; John 5:24.)

“God is pleased with the happiness of his servant and the blessings of Abraham are mine.”

(Psalm 35:27; Galatians 3:14.)

“I trust the Lord with all my heart and do not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways I accept him and he guides my way.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

“I will do everything through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13.)

“I let the peace of God reign in my heart and I don’t worry about anything.”

(Colossians 3:15.)

“Jesus took my sickness and took my pain. That’s why I don’t give place to sickness and pain. Because God sent His Word and healed me.” (Psalm 107:20.)

“O Heavenly Father, I seek your Word. I listen to your words. I do not let them escape my sight. I keep them in my heart, because they are the life and healing of my whole body.” (Proverbs 4:20-22.)

“My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I ask my body to produce the right chemicals. My body is in perfect chemical balance. My pancreas produces the right amount of insulin for life and health.” (1 Corinthians 6:19.)

“Your word is manifested in my body, causing loss of growth. Arthritis is a thing of the past. I command my bones and joints to function properly in Jesus name.”

(Mark 11:23; Matthew 17:20.)

My blood pressure is within normal limits. The life of God flows through my blood and cleanses my veins of everything that does not belong to life. (Mark 11:23.)

My heartbeat is normal. My heart beats with the rhythm of life, the life of God is carried throughout my body, life and health are abundantly restored. (John 17:23; Ephesians 2:22.)

“I am freed from the curse of the law and my heart beats with the rhythm of life. The spirit and life of the Word of God flows in me and cleanses my blood from all disease and impurity. (Galatians 3:13; Proverbs 4:20-23.)

Father, I resist the enemy in every way, I want my body to be strong and healthy and I do it according to your word. I reject the curse, and I force life into this body. (James 4:7.)

“I will not die, but live and reveal the works of God.” (Psalm 118:17.)

“God supplies all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. God is the source of my sustenance, and I have more than enough to pay my bills on time. Be paid in full, in the name of Jesus given.” (Philippians 4:19.)

“Heavenly Father, I call on you to rise with my first fruits of increase. I thank you for this work and bless my employer. Now I declare that this knee is abundant. I now for His labor is richly rewarded, both creatively and financially (Proverbs 3:9-10).

“I now destroy and lay aside all negative, limiting beliefs about where I will work and what kind of work is available to me. I open myself to all God’s possibilities. I call for a fulfilling, fulfilling, show well with money. my life. I am always in the right place at the right time because the Spirit of God directs my steps.” (Proverbs 16:9; Romans 5:17).

These are just a few examples of God’s promises, which are mentioned in the confession. Find one that applies to you, write it down and put it where you can find it and start confessing it to your life a few times a day as you think about it. You will soon see faith grow in your heart and the Word manifest in your life. Praise be to God!

If you don’t know God and want to see Him and experience God’s love and peace for yourself, then I want to invite you to pray this prayer.

Dear heavenly father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says: “…and whoever comes to me, I will never cast out.” (Jn.6:37), Therefore I know that you do not cast me out, but you hold me and I thank you for that. You said in your Word: “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Ro. 10:13). …that if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Rom. 10:9-10). I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that he is from He died for his righteousness. And I accept him as my Lord now, because Your Word says: “…with the heart man believeth unto righteousness…” and I believe with my heart, I am now righteous God in Christ (2 Cor. 5:21) And I am saved!

I can now truly say, I consider myself a born again child of God!

Glory be to God!!!! Amen.
