God and the Gays – Once Gay, Always Gay? (Part 3)

If we accept the Bible as the true Word of God, and believe that God means and what He says, then we cannot escape the fact that God clearly forbids any premarital or extramarital sex. Don’t be fooled by the gospel, it gets straight to the point. The Hebrew God is not ashamed. At the same time, he is not ashamed of the anatomy that man has created with him. He pulls no punches and doesn’t let anyone ruin His plans. In the Book of Instructions that God gave to Israel (to give to the world), there were clear blueprints for building successful relationships between God and people. That foundation of the Bible proves that we belong to strong and healthy relationships, which have been blessed by God (Ps. 127:1). Anything that goes against the laws of God’s construction is self-destructive and condemning.

The Bible clearly states: 1) There is no place for “gay rights” in its territories. Homosexuality is not within the bounds of acceptable behavior. This practice is not allowed in the Christian Camp and will soon spread outside the City limits (Rev. 22:15). Anyone who dares to follow this prohibition will be expelled from society and will face the death penalty (Genesis 2:17). We must not tolerate the “narrow and narrow” way of our God. 2) Crucifixion, transvestism does not occur (Deuteronomy 22:5). God does not want any “half-breed” to put forward their mixed ideas, which are not good with the Word of God (Lev. 19:19). There are no ifs, ands and buts about it – no corny psychological explanations or plausible excuses: not allowed! Everything is black and white, right or wrong, male or female; no distinctions or unnecessary confusions (Ezek. 22:26). 3) Homosexual prostitutes should also not want to walk in the streets, because they will find it difficult to understand that it is strange (5. Moses 23:17-18).

God wants to protect us all and protect our homes and minds. He doesn’t want us to cross the point of no return! When you break down one moral barrier, it’s easier to break down another. When the gates of hell open, everyone is wiped out and sexual anarchy reigns!

The barometer of a nation’s descent from good to bad—just before national captivity and exile—is when homosexuality begins to lose its intended stigma (Rom. 1:28). That and every other stigma associated with the Bible is meant to help keep us in line, remind us of what we are doing, and force us to pay the penalty. Instead of attacking the doctor’s diagnosis, we should focus on improving our condition!

We are free to ignore or reject the Scriptural admonitions against homosexual activities, but we must not pretend that the Bible is silent on the matter. If someone continues to smoke even after reading the Surgeon General’s warnings against it, so be it. But they should not deny that they have voluntarily increased their risks of contracting various diseases.

The reason for life

Our reason for living should not be sex – but we should create a right relationship with God! Life is meant to be much more meaningful than temporary physical pleasures. When Jesus said that “man must not live by bread alone”, He revealed that there is another dimension – the spiritual – that completes us and transcends earthly things. Our daily request for “bread” (in the example of the Lord’s prayer) is not only a humble request to meet all our physical needs, but also that we will be supported spiritually (John 6: 35).

The highest goal in our lives should be to know and become more like our Heavenly Father (Matt. 5:48). Especially when you consider that God created all species according to their own kind, and then created humans after God! We are offered an opportunity to bear the image of God more and more each day and become more closely like Him (in attributes). We are called to live in harmony with His glorious Kingdom. In the resurrection, we will be born again and enter the kingdom of God.

If we want to be on God’s wavelength, come to His level, and live in peace and harmony (with the law and order of His universe) – we must know and accept that some are “trees, food, and fruit.” t kosher, but are unlimited, not taboo! If we want to escape this unique journey, we need to avoid those traps and stay away from dangerous areas (Prov. 4:15). We don’t want to be another victim on the road (Prov. 15:10). God did not single out homosexuals for special treatment – or persecution! He is not homophobic, racist, or sexist: God is Love.

And because God loves us all, He has great hopes and dreams for us. That is why God has graciously given us some useful guidance and advice for a happy, healthy and wholesome life: The Tree of Life (1 John 5:3). These voluntary limitations (you are a free moral agent) are meant to make our lives brighter and enable us to truly benefit from our human experiences (John 10:10; Acts 4:40). They gently regulate our eating, thinking, worshiping, moving, drinking—every aspect of our lives—and benefit every fiber of our being. Sin is sin (Rom. 3:23). To violate – to break – these practical principles is self-destruction (1 John 3:4; Ezek. 18:31). God forbid, plain and simple! He does not target homosexuals and make them the first on the list of sex offenders (1 Cor. 6:9).

We need to put everything in context, within the perspective and focus of the Bible. Too often today, especially in too much talk-shows (Matt. 12:36), things are too easily distorted, distorted and confused. These important matters are often misunderstood, explained with wrong motives, and questioned by prejudiced people (Genesis 3:1). How they live for the applause of their “broad-minded” crowd (John 12:34)! In general, you can’t reason with that kind of thinking or argue with their sick minds (Matt. 7:6). God condemns those “enlightened” armies, who do things upside down (Isa. 5:20; 2 Cor. 11:14). Whatever their worth, they are not very popular with God. We do not need to remain slaves to sin. Christ can set us free (John 8:36). Should the living sit among the dead (John 5:25)? Why stay down and outside, when you can improve yourself, rise up from your situation and be under the grace of God (Col. 2:13)?

Once gay always gay? How can once an adulterer always be an adulterer? Better yet, once a sinner always a sinner (1 Cor. 6:11; 1 John 1:9)? WHO says that? Only if you choose to be a “hardened criminal”. You can progress to perfection! You can go with the flow, change the way you think and escape from the belly of the beast (Eph. 2:1-6). You can rebel and be free! You don’t have to die in “Egypt”.

Once a sinner, NOW a saint! There is no sin too great, or deep problem, or burning mind, that Christ cannot reach, touch or heal (Ps. 139:7-12; Matt. 15:30). Who will dare to condemn whom God has forgiven (Rom. 8:1)? God sent Christ into your world to save, not to destroy; forgive, not curse; to help, not to harm (Luke 9:56). Even the Hebrew name of Jesus reveals his good intentions towards us (Matt. 1:21).

Drawing from the Past

Undoubtedly, there will be strong retreats from the past and pressure to return to the old and familiar ways: test our resolve, test our strength and separate our change (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). It is their hope (1 Pet. 4:12), but they must discover the right view (Heb. 12:11-13). The fact that you are now in the “Resistance Movement” and you are in the middle of hard fights (not surrendering yourself), proves your patriotism and shows your determination to win (Gal. 5:17). God respects your efforts and will reward them (Heb. 6:10; 11:6). They have come to Him many times (Psalm 116:15). You are not allowed to resist! You may feel it, but you are not alone. We have a Great Helper, an invisible Helper, who can do all things, who can help us in this situation (Hebrews 4:14-16).

When we come to be forgiven, we are REQUIRED to turn to each other (Jn. 1:12). God helps us to resist the attack of sin, and remain in the good graces of our Governor (Isa. 9:11; Jude 24). Even if you still feel like you are “gay” but your conversion has not yet taken full effect (Eph. 4:23; Ac. 1:4), DON’T! Be happy that you have made progress, and that you are also trying to improve yourself. That in itself is a miracle. Believe in God (Philippians 4:13). He will see you through thick and thin, and he will stay by your side “come to hell or high water” (Isa. 43:1-2). It is true that “We keep winning.” DON’T GIVE UP! Keep fighting: whatever you believe in is worth fighting for (Matt. 11:12). You can be sure that you are very precious to God. He knows you by name.

“Once gay always gay” is a damn LIE! It denies Christ’s ability to save and slanders His sacrifice as insufficient! We don’t have to believe that propaganda even if it is repeated a thousand times. It is nothing but mental warfare (2 Cor. 2:11). It is done with envy towards those who have become stubborn and have suffered in life (1 Pet. 5:8).

Transformation – change – is possible, but it takes patience. Cleansing is a process that takes time (1 John 3:3; Isaiah 48:10). It all starts in the mind. We don’t have to give in to every desire and desire of sin (Rom. 6:14). Slowly but surely, homosexuality will take its toll on our lives. God can deliver us from its effects, break our bad habits, and free us from the ball and chain of the future (Isa. 45:2).

Christ will gently help us and give us energy as we go forward (Isaiah 40:29). We must raise ourselves before the Father with prayers from the heart (Matt. 11:28-30; 1 Pet. 5:7), just as Jesus did when he was here (Heb. 5:7). Everyone was offered this opportunity in life: to start over, get a new life, and clean up. It is our choice. It’s your choice.
