The Great Kwararafa Kingdom (II) Paradigm Shift (Can It Be?)

Thank you for all the prayers and encouragement we receive. God bless you too. In the last edition of my article “The Great Kwararafa Kingdom in the New Age” the editor wrote “A contributor believes that the new age kwararafa should resemble the unified concept and identity of the deity. Can it be?”

This question will be answered in this issue. I will use my late father’s history to prescribe a paradigm shift. Thomas S. Kuhn (philosopher of science in his analysis of the process of scientific revolutions, the theory that when new facts and situations emerge in a particular scientific field that can no longer be explained or explained by the dominant paradigm, its proposals begin to lose faith in the paradigm and a new paradigm is required. Therefore, when a new paradigm replaces an old paradigm, a paradigm shift occurs and this means a scientific revolution.

A paradigm, according to Kuhn, consists of general theoretical assumptions with laws and methods for their implementation, which inform the attitudes and behaviors of members of a particular scientific community. Kuhn’s theory is not only applicable to the discipline of physical science but also to other disciplines.

Hans Kung applied it to Christian church history and theology. David J. Bosch has also applied it to the analysis of missions and missionary thinking. Rev. John Sigo has applied it to the analysis of Christian involvement in politics. When I analyze it in discussing a paradigm shift from democracy to theocracy, a traditional shift to relevance.

There is an organization in the US that has a new paradigm of a united godly society that they hope will “ground” democracy.

The following is a new paradigm shift that will bid farewell to democracy communism or any other human government devoid of divine order.

CRCN:

The Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRCN) was formed out of the SUM (Sudan United Mission) project. What I’m more interested in are the Reformed articles of faith. Four of them are crucial to our discussion of the paradigm shift. The CRCN paradigm seems to be a paradigm shift of the Kwararafa kingdom paradigm. But I hope that the CRCN paradigm will change for more relevance.

Article 5: One Kingdom and the Lord. CRCN differs from some other Christian traditions in that there is only one Kingdom of God that includes all creation, physical and spiritual, heaven and earth. The Church plays a central part in that kingdom, but it is not the whole. This kingdom was mainly created and maintained by God the Father, but at this point in history, Jesus Christ the son was appointed Lord over this entire kingdom. Therefore His Lordship covers all life, including politics and business. The Holy Spirit empowers us to obey Him in all things and overcome opposition.

Verse 7: Our Duty: In Genesis 1 we have a cultural duty, which directs us to develop and rule the world as God’s vice-regents. Therefore, Christians should participate in all areas of life in the name of God. This is our basic religious duty. Since unbelievers cannot fulfill this task properly, we also have the great commission of Matthew 28, which sends us into the world to preach the gospel and all that we are taught by the word of God. teach your neighbors. Therefore, these two orders have common goals. Both must be done within the framework of the Great Commandment, which is to love God and neighbor. Today, important aspects of this foundation are strong concern for the gospel, honesty, healing and peace, justice for all and the environment.

Article 9: The priesthood of all believers: while some churches have developed many ranks and titles almost military-style, the Reformed have rejected this approach. They found that in the long run, rank and title in the church leads to corruption of power. Instead of responsibility, lust for privilege took over. Therefore, there are no separate ranks for pastors. All are equal. And the shepherds are under the supervision of the local elders, who are expected to be servants of God and his people filled with the spirit. In fact, every believer has the spirit of God; Monks do not have a monopoly on His Spirit. Where this does not work, it is usually due to a lack of true spirituality that leads to ministry. Where there are problems of this kind, the solution is first of all not in reorganization, but in spiritual revival.

Clause 6; God reveals himself in three main ways. In nature, in the Bible and in Jesus Christ. Each of these is the Word of God. Nature proclaims its power and love, but because our ability to reason correctly has been corrupted by sin, we need the Bible to understand nature. The Bible explains to us the meaning of creation and the whole plan of salvation, including the role of Jesus Christ. It is reliable, trustworthy and reliable in what it tells us about God and His world. We listen not only to the Bible, but also to nature, which includes the history and experience of mankind.

ARTICLE 5: The paradigm shift in the text is found in Daniel 2:44 about the kingdom that will divide other kingdoms and that kingdom will last forever.

The paradigm shift in verse 6 is that in the end times God will reveal Himself through His holy apostles and prophets. Besides this, God reveals himself as theophany or as the Messiah. Theophany means that God, who is a spirit, takes different physical forms to reveal himself to people, while Christophany means that Christ takes different forms to reveal himself to people, the main one being Christ, who is the Christ his church. uses what is on earth to reveal Himself through the Fivefold. the ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and shepherds.

The paradigm shift is theocratic, meaning God rules the world through His kingdom on earth.

History shows that Christianity when the new faith of Islam was under severe persecution, the believers fled to Abyssinia, present-day Ethiopia, and the Christian ruler there showed them mercy and allowed them to live unharmed in their territory.

Article 9 changes the paradigm of managing a family religious organization to ensure that the religious contribution of each family is well known to the larger community, because the home is the fabric of the community. Same-sex marriage, abortion, pornography and witchcraft threaten the home front. Where there are no God-fearing homes, there is no God-fearing community.

History records that the Roman Catholic Church rose to great power and glory when the place of the Great Roman Empire was vacant. According to AC Flick the rise of the medieval church, P. 168. The removal of the imperial capital from Rome to Constantinople in 330 left the Western church practically free from imperial power to develop its own organization. The Bishop of Rome was now the greatest man in the West on the throne of the Caesars, and soon had to become the political as well as the spiritual leader.

A very important old paradigm of the Roman Catholic Church was written in the book. “What is Christianity? By Adolf Harnock, 1903, pp.269-270. Whatever the Roman, barbarian and Aryan elements remained under the protection of the bishop of Rome, who was the main person there after the disappearance of the emperors. The Roman Church in this mysteriously placed itself in the place of the world empire of Rome, which is its true continuation, the empire did not fail, but only underwent a transformation. [Catholic Church] It is a political creation and is great as a world empire because it is a continuation of Rome. The Pope, who calls himself king and Pontifex Maximus, is the successor of Caesar.”

According to Archbishop Benjamin Kwashi, the former president of CAN state “God has moved the center of missionary activities from the UK and USA to Jos, Nigeria, the new Jerusalem.” So our new paradigm is the new or reformed Kwararafa kingdom. And what happened in Rome in the last millennium may happen in the new millennium, but the question we have to ask ourselves now is who is capable, talented and capable – enough to make it happen? What is he made of, where is such a man? Where can we find the man who has the capacity to rule both spiritually and politically? Your guess is as good as mine, let’s get started or keep looking.

Former president John f. Kennedy once observed, “When written in Chinese, the word ‘crisis’ consists of two characters. One means danger, the other means opportunity. Our 21st century is a crisis like never before, not only for world, but also to all of Christendom. We see civil war, violent rebellions, terrorism, natural disasters, serious diseases and epidemics and many other problems increasing. But despite these threats, there are many opportunities before us. Perhaps the greatest opportunity of this new millennium is our access to information. Never before has information been as accessible to all parts of the world as it is today. National borders are meaningless and government regulations can hardly prevent people from accessing information anywhere. place on the internet. We have a chance to do good too. in these worst days.
